Oracion del Centenario Columbano
Padre Celestial,
te damos gracias por el privilegio
de poder compartir la alegria del evangelio
en distintas culturas.
Ayúdanos a mantenernos fieles a tu llamado
de vivir en comunión con la Creacion, con los pobres
y con aquellos que están empobrecidos espiritualmente.
Señor Jesus,
danos la sabiduria para conocer
el camino que debemos seguir,
ayúdanos a redescubrir
el carisma de nuestros padres fundadores
y a compartirlo con las generaciones futuras.
Espíritu Santo,
ayúdanos a ser fuertes y a tener coraje
para proclamar el Reino de Dios
que transforma y libera,
sabiendo que siempre estarás con nosotros
a donde sea que vayamos.
San Columbano, ruega por nosotros.

Heavenly Father,
We give you thanks for the privilege
of sharing the joy of the Gospel in many cultures.
Keep us faithful in responding to your call
to communion with your creation, with the poor
and with those who are spiritually alienated.
Lord Jesus,
Grant us the wisdom to know the path we should take,
as we interpret the charism of our Founders
and pass it on to future generations.
Holy Spirit,
Help us to be strong and courageous in proclaiming
the transforming and liberating power of the Kingdom of God,
knowing that you are with us wherever we go.
St Columban, pray for us.
